Hi laneshark,

Welcome to our forum.

Here i would like to advice you, You are only co-signer that means if your girl friend stop to paying to lender then you will responsible to pay them & they will notice to you for make make payment .

So there are no option of home buyer.

Thanks & Regards.

Hi

You cannot qualify as a first time home buyer becasue you didn't purchase the house, you were simply added to the loan through a refinance.

most of the answers here are contradictory in nature, but the bottom line is true: you will not qualify as a first time homebuyer.

Hi,
Home is not in your name you come to in loan so you only to pay amount because You are only co-signer so you should be pay amount.
So you just cleared that you are not first time home buyer..

Don't wory.....

Thanks

Haha george. May i join? You are co signer to the loan. If you were the main borrower and the house was in your name then yes you are a first time home buyer. Just having your name on a loan as a co borrower means no your not a 1st time home buyer.

yall confuse me with this merry-go-round of opinions, too.

I think my popper just broke on that last exchange !!

By the way, I think Hari and Dilip are either the same person or they are brothers. There is no way that two different wombs can produce these two people.
