I recently moved to a home that unknown to us is in the process of foreclosure. I was approached by HOA and was told that in the state of Florida the law is that if a home is in foreclosure and the home owner rents it out the rent will be given to HOA to bring condo fees up to date. I refused and they told me they will deny me access through the security gate and will turn off water and stop lawn care. I tried to just pay the monthly fees and deduct from rent and pay landlord the difference. No they want it all..whAT TO DO??????????????????????????????????????

You need to contact an attorney and check out the laws in Florida regarding condo foreclosure. This will let you know whether or not the HOA is trying to scam you. You can, then, take the right decision accordingly.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
