Our Mortgage was discharged in chapter 7. We are still paying on the morgage can we continue to pay monthly and still live here? Would they stilll forclose on the home even though we do not own it? they loan is currant at the time. We live in Fla.
Hi nitenatin!

Welcome to forums!

You can continue to pay your mortgage payments on a regular basis and stay in the property. If you haven't reaffirmed the mortgage, then you can reopen your bankruptcy filing and reaffirm the mortgage which will make you personally liable for the mortgage. This will help you in saving the property and improving your credit score.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
