I would like to purchase primary residence in Florida using FHA.My credit,income,dti etc would qualify me.However,wife has poor credit.

If you have a moderate credit you can apply for a FHA home loan, but you should be able to make a 3% down payment. People with a low credit score can apply for FHA loans if he has a good repayment history for the past one year before they apply for the loan. If your wife do not have a good repayment history for the last one year, I think that you should apply for the loan in your name only.
