has anyone heard of flaster law firm in florida to help you modify your loan? they charge a fee to be your litagator and say they can cut the crap from dealing with wells fargo on your behalf and get the job done.
i am skeptical about missing house payments while in "loss mitigation" as i am current.
Hey Sara, you are right. I did find out from the Attorney General that it is against the law to charge a free before the service is completed. We were too trusting. But we do feel the God has a plan and we have moved on. It could be a lot worse. We did find a nice rental and we have each other. Thanks for the encouraging words.

I haven't heard about them yet. Try having a little research on their background as well as what are the remarks of their past clients about them. You can't entrust your money that easy you know.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard about them however, I am interested on solving your problems with them if you give more details about it.

I haven't heard anything about FLASTER LAW FIRM IN FLORIDA however, you can try searching about what they do on the internet. When you find their site make sure that you read the testimonials of their past clients to make sure that they are really what you are looking for.

When it became clear to that directly working with my lender would yield no results (in fact only costs more money and frustration) we decided after nine months trying to do things straight with our lender, to instead try the Flaster Lawfirm.
I wish I could say that they were wonderful, after all, we kept the house and got a very good modification on our first mortgage. But in the process there were Months that communication was decent, and then several Months that would pass by without hearing anything.
We were also told that after the first modification was through, Flaster would start the work on modifying the 2nd mortgage. I assume they have started, but it has been 3 Months now (September 2, 2011) since I heard anything from them. When I call, I get a voice-message.
In short: working with them I absolutely got the main prize that I wanted, where on my own I would have failed. But their communication is very weak.

I will provide an update on this site once I learn more about the 2nd mortgage.

I started wirking with Flaster in September 2010. We signed a contract and paid 3000 up front with the agreement that if they were not successful in securing a loan modification we would recieve a refund of 2500. They told me to stop paying my mortgage because banks will not work with people current on their mortgage. It has been over a year. We have been through four different contacts. I have left 42 mewssages regarding a certified notice my lendor has sent indicating intent to start forclosure procedings. They have not returned a single phone call. I have lodged complaints with both the Florida Bar Association and the Better Business Bureau. At this point, unless the Florida Bar Association is successful in making them refun our money we are out 3000 and still have no Loan Modification and are looking at losing our house. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!!! They are not reputable and they will not be successful. They will take your money and disappear.

3 months ago I posted that Flaster did help us with the first mortgage, but nothing happened on the 2nd.
Well, nothing has happened since then, and voice messages left, or e-mails are never answered. Not good.
