Do I qualify for the first time home buyer if I am on the deed but not mortgage?

I have graduated from a Florida college in May and my parents bought a condo in the area for me to live in while I went to school. In the summer I would return home to my parents to live. My driver's license still have my parents address on it and my voter registration is still there also. My parents quick claimed my name on the condo deed. I am not on the mortgage and have never claimed the condo on my tax return. My parents claimed me as their dependent on their tax return.

Now I have a job and can afford to buy a house. Will I be eligible for the first time home buyers credit?
kim since you've just finished school, i don't suppose you have your own tax advisor. maybe your parents do - if so, this is the kind of question best asked of a tax advisor. the other alternative is to ask the irs directly.

since you didn't purchase the condo, i'd be surprised if you're eligible; but that's why i say what i said above. you don't want my opinion - you want the opinion of someone who actually knows the answer.
