foreclosure

Posted on: 06th Nov, 2008 03:52 pm
I am about to foreclose on an investment property in FL ( land) that I cannot pay for any longer.
I do not reside in FL...
Can they garnish my wages in the state that I live in and/or place a lien on the 2 properties I ownthere?
thanks
Hi Guest!

Welcome to the forums!

If the lender can recover his debt by selling the property that is being foreclosed, then he will not come after your other properties or garnish your wages. However, if he cannot recover his money he may place liens on your other properties or can even garnish your wages.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
