:?: A friend purchased a foreclosed property in FL. The house was foreclosed because of non paid homeowner association dues. The 10 day redemption period has passed without objection and the court has given him the deed. However, the owner is still in the house. How does he go about obtain occupancy?
"The court has given him the deed" almost seems to indicate that the lender involved...or the HOA...never actually took possession. If they had, then the previous homeowner would certainly have had to vacate before the property could be sold.
It occurs to me that your friend needs to find a good attorney who can assist in forcing the person to vacate immediately.
