OK I am buying a property from a family friend. The house is free and clear. The property is in florida. We want to put my name on the deed and then have them as a lender or lien holder.. What deed do we need to file? The house has no liens, no backtaxes, its free and clear.
purchase price is 32k
I am putting 3kdown
so I would owe 29k... what deed do we file in florida?
Hi Guest,

In order to get the property transferred in your name, you can ask your friend to sign a quit claim deed. The deed needs to be notarized and then recorded at the county recorder's office.
