If a the owner of a house that got actioned off surrendered there rights how would you get a title?...Is the house still the person that lost the house or is it the countys? I am trying to buy tax deed house the morgage company and the owner surrendered there rights to the tax collectors office? Im in Florida.
Hi hypolte

You have mentioned that the owner of the house surrendered their rights of the property. As they have surrendered, then they are not the owners of the property anymore. You will have to get the title of the property from the person to whom the original owners have surrendered their rights.

Thanks.

If you purchased the property from a tax sale auction the deed would come from the County, ask the County what the procedures are for acquiring this property via a tax sale.
