my daughter is buying a piece of property from us. we want to keep the property in our name until she pays us back! how can this be done in the state of florida? we would like to write a mortgage and record it as it would help her credit.

you can sign a quit claim deed and add your daughter to the deed. once she pays back the loan to you, then you can sign a quit claim deed and transfer the property completely to her. you should contact a real estate attorney and he would guide you further in this regard.
