Hi there… Can I get a mortgage with a foreclosure on my credit record? My foreclosure is 3 years old.
Hi Amanda,
After a foreclosure, normally a person will have to wait for 3-4 years in order to qualify for a loan. As 3 years are over, you can start contacting the lenders for getting a mortgage. But you will have to meet the required criteria of the lender in order to get a home loan.
Thanks,
Jerry

Welcome Amanda,
I agree with what Jerry has said. As 3 years have passed, you may get qualified for a mortgage. But you should have excellent credit scores and a stable employment and income for the same.

fha guidelines all for a loan after 3yrs from the foreclosed date.
After facing foreclosure, you will have to wait for 3-4 years to become eligible for a mortgage loan. Since 3 years have already passed, you may get in touch with the lenders. Make sure you fulfill the criteria of the lender so as to get home loan approval. Besides this, you also require having good credit score and a fixed job in order to take out a mortgage loan.
I agree with the posts above, since 3 years have already passed you can now contact the lenders to get the mortgage and qualify for the loans.
Yes you can if you have excellent credit scores.
you should check out your credit score. it should be high enough to qualify for loan.
