Is there a trick to accelerate foreclosure proceedings? With the amount of foreclosures in my state this is taking months. I moved out months ago, but still no sale date. After I moved out, the mortgage company is not interested in discussing anything with me or the law firm, as I show no interest in keeping the home. Believe me, this is the hardest thing I ever had to do and I do feel like a loser, at least financially and credit wise. People seem to think you are stupid or have a low IQ, if you wind up in financial trouble and give up your home. Thanks!!!
Hi Guest,
Keeping in mind the market situation, it would be difficult for you to accelerate foreclosure proceedings. If you are interested in saving the property, then you should apply for a loan modification and check out if the lender accepts it or not.
Thanks

HI Jameshoqq,
Is loan modification from same lender is possible or shall we go for different lender?

hi sunil!
your original lender will offer you the loan modification program. other lenders won't offer the loan modification plan to you. however, if you're planning to refinance, then you can go for other lenders.
feel free to ask if you have further queries.
