hi guest,

welcome to forums.

it is possible to convert chapter 13 to chapter 7 bankruptcy. but when did you file chapter 13? i mean how long is it after you have filed bankruptcy? just check out a previous discussion on whether one can convert chapter 13 to chapter 7 bankruptcy .

thanks

the chapter 13 for some reason is easier to get a loan on after ontime payments. 2 years from the date it was filed a lender can do whats called a bail out. dont know if that would help wiegh your desicion or not but i wanted you to know that. if you go into a 7 you have to wait 2 years before you can refinance (from the discharge date).....

good luck
