How do I go about getting a Court Protection my Forclosure, and is there a certain time frame?...Hi! I am still unemployed and have with working with my mortgage company. My condo is up for auction next Fri. unless my mortgage company stops it, due to my unemployment. If I do not have a job in time, and my mortgage company is not able to extend to me any more grace, "How do I go about Court Protection, due to being unemployed," or is my only option Bankrupcy? Thank you. Kim
Hi mcphee!
Welcome to forums!
As you are unable to pay the mortgage dues, the lender has all the right to foreclose the property. As far as getting a court protection is concerned, you need to consult an attorney and get his opinion in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
