Hi I have friend who's x husban stop paying the house now they are coming after her for the money plus lawyers fee if she pays this can her second morgate still foreclose on her

i think the property as well as the mortgage both are in your friend's name. this is the reason why the lenders are coming after her. didn't your friend's ex-husband refinance the property in his name? if there is a second mortgage on the property, then she will also be liable to pay off the second mortgage dues. if she can't then the second mortgage company can definitely foreclose the property.
