To what an extent can a short sale or a foreclosure or a DIL on a property in Idaho affect the status of a primary residence mortgage in Oregon?
Hi,
The lender who forecloses your property in Idaho may file for a judgment which will allow him to place a lien on the property in Oregon. He will have to file this judgment in Oregon and if the court agrees, then only he will be liable to place lien on that property.
Thanks,
Jerry
