What recourse does a quit claim grantee has, if the lender foreclosed on the grantor's deed of trust. I was not given the opportunity to assume or obtain a loan by the lender. Is this a legal procedure? Foreclosing on the grantor without involvement of the grantee. Is it too late to file a claim for my foreclosed home? I made payments and ended up without a home. Pls advice thanks.
Hi CHICA,
If the lender does not receive his payments on time, then he has the rights to foreclose the property and recover his dues. As he has the lien on the property, he can foreclose it. I don't think you've any recourse to this. Nevertheless, you should speak to an attorney and check out his opinion in this matter.
Thanks

Thank you from Chica. I think the lawyer will just tell me the same thing.
