The second husband has a house that is forclosing and no I an not on the mortgage or deed in this case, but can the bank that is forclosing on that house tac a lien on this house because of him being on the deed?
He is not on the mortgage, neither am I.
Why do they send me the notices about the forclosure, I am not even on the mortgage or the deed?

Hi debra,
It is quite surprising that the lender has send you foreclosure notice when you are not on the mortgage or on the property deed. The lender can definitely place a lien on the property if the mortgage dues are not paid on time. However, if none of you are on the mortgage, then the foreclosure of the property won't affect you. As none of you are on the mortgage, the lender will not be able to sue you for the deficient amount and your credit report will not be affected.
