and no other income. I live from week to week and have had 4 other foreclosures and no way to pay the RTR demand. I had offered a $5000.00 settlement but they waited too long and now that money is gone now. I own another house that is current 'cause the tenant has come through every month so far. There is no equity but they can have it. Should I offer it up.
Hi popbon!

Welcome to forums!

It is completely your discretion whether or not you want to surrender the property to the lender in order to pay it off. However, if you're current on your mortgage payments, then you can keep the property and pay the dues on time. If you surrender the property to the lender, he would foreclose it which will have a negative affect on your credit score.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

I never had too many problems til I became disabled. Back and busted hip and partially severed sciatic nerve and constant pain in left big toe and lt. hip. Double vision, then two discs herniated. Finally SSDI agreed I was unable to do any kind of sitting in front of computer work; no long walking, bending, stooping, lifting, etc.
My question was answered as presented but the fact is the house that was foreclosed still had this 2nd and I was curious if anyone has given up the deed on another house to payoff another 2nd note to keep from having to file bankruptcy. That is my next step, I suppose.
