i have been in contact with green tree about accepting a deed in lieu of foreclosure. the mortgage is for a mobile home and the amount owed is just under $50,000. they say they will take it, no inspection beforehand, no money owed, just sign...all we have to do is vacate. could it really be this simple???
Hi amyin,
Things are simple in deed in lieu of foreclosure but I will suggest you to check through the document before signing it and check out whether or not you agree to the terms and conditions. Once you agree to the terms and conditions, then only you should sign the docs.
Thanks
