'My husband is being foreclosed on for a property he owned before we were married and is in his name only. Can the lender come after our joing savings account, CDs or other assets that are in my name?
Hi lkafka!

Welcome to forums!

If the mortgage for the property is in your husband's name, then you will not be responsible for it. The lender will not come after you for the deficient balance neither will it have a negative affect on your credit report.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
