We are already in bankruptcy and behind on mortgage payments. Mortgage company is trying to foreclose, what should we do to keep home?
Hi Guest,
If you've already filed for bankruptcy, then the mortgage lender will not be able to foreclose it. The court must have issued an automatic stay which bars your creditors from collecting the mortgage dues. You can ask your bankruptcy attorney to send a certified letter to your mortgage lender regarding this.
Thanks
