The bank that holds our mortgage although they do not hold the mortgage for our property...I think they are trying to scare us with their forclosure talk. Can you tell me the best way to handle this situation?
It is difficult to follow you. How can a bank hold your mortgage but not the mortgage on your property? What mortgage are they holding?
The bank is financing a doublewide mobile home and our property is financed with a different company.

If you have taken a mortgage from the lender and used your double wide as a collateral, the lender has the right to foreclose the property if you cannot pay of the mortgage dues.

try to avoid the situation as they have legal right. note that it will affect your credit rating as well
Not to say there are not con jobs out there but they are few and far between. i.e., liens, are sold all the time. You would normally have received notification from old and new lien holder on this.
Have you been making payments to the company who you believe holds your mortgage? If so, have you spoke with them? Have you asked the bank for proof they current hold your mortgage (usually a simple assignment) or gone lin to check county records?
If you have not been making payments, someone (current lien holder) will foreclose. is a loaded term. Would you prefer the lien holder not inform you and just show up after the sale with the sheriff to move you personal property to the street? Actually you would be served either by mail (if you accept mail) or publication.
