My mom Passed away in Jan. Everything has been a mess. Her mobiole home almost went into foreclosure. By the good graces of God I was able to get to a small personal loan from a friend to pay off the mobile home and the property it sits on. Unfortunetly, I couldn't get enough to pay off the rather large utility bill owed to the mobile home park. They have a lien against the mobile home so I can't even transfer it my name They also told me that they could foreclose on my property, and make me move my mobile home off the property. If I own the land can they make me do this? I'am trying everything in my power to get them some money, but as you know times are tough. I'am barely eating, and now I have this to worry about. I would so much appreciate it if someone could answer my question. Thank You. Cynthia
Hi Cynthia!
Yes, the lenders can still foreclose the property if you own the land. You can try getting another personal loan and clear off the utility bills. This will help you to save the house and the land both.
Thanks,
Jerry
