my home is in forclosure am i responsible if i only signed the deed of trust and not the morgage loan and how long do i have to stay here i am divorsed from my husband i have a son who is six my x husband is not telling me anything havent got a eviction notice yet it went for auction 11/9/2009 i need answers
Without seeing your paperwork but based on what you've provided you're probably not obligated to pay the note which means it may not affect your credit.
Bad news is, if the home went to auction, chances are the sheriff will be knocking on your door soon.
You might want to start making other living arrangements.
The trustee's sale is public record, so you can check to see if the sale happened.
