My daughters dad bought a house a few years back. When he did he put me onthe title incase something should happen he wanted to make sure she had something some his mom was beneficiary for all his life inurances.
He's since been struggling and is letting the house go.
I've been receiving copies ofthe foreclosing court papers. Is my credit in danger? Ive called the banks. They said they cant talk to me. I'm not on the loan. I'm just trykng toake

If your name is not mentioned on the mortgage docs, then the foreclosure of the property won't have a negative affect on your credit score. You won't be held liable for the deficient balance even. You're receiving the papers because your name is mentioned on the property deed as one of the owners of the property.
