I have an old foreclosure from my divorce back in like 2002/2003 area. I just walked away and never got a single paper or phone call from the day I left. I moved out of state and never tried to figure out anything. Can I now qualify for a new mortgage?
Hi lilo,
Is that negative account presently mentioned in your credit report? If not, then I don't think it will be difficult for you to qualify for a loan. You should contact your lender and start applying for loans. They will check your credit and financial situation and let you know whether or not you can qualify for a loan.
Take care.

Hi lilo,
I agree with what Sara has said. If the account is not mentioned on your credit report, then the lender won't be able to find about the previous foreclosure and it won't have a negative impact on your present loan.
Thanks
