Foreclosure Help

Posted on: 27th May, 2009 03:21 pm
Hello

I gave my wife the house, she is now three months behind, the judge order her then to sell the house, it has been up for short sale for a month now and she will not let anyone set up an appointment to see the help. I called Chase today, and they informed me that the house is three months behide on payments and foreclosure proceeding can start anyday now. Is there any advice you can give me to help.
hi themsley,

did you sign any deed to transfer the house to her? are you on the loan? if you are on the loan and the lender starts foreclosure proceedings, your credit will be hit. if you are on the loan and want to keep the house, you can continue to make the payments. if you are not on the loan, you can refinance in your name and take over the responsibility of the loan from your wife.

I did not signed any deed to transfer anything, yes I am on the loan. I am recently laided off, so I could not afford the home if I wanted to. The judge did over her to sell the home. The realtor has tried nine times to show the home, and she has denided them access to the home. I am out of options at this point.

It sounds like you should get in front of the judge and bring your realtor with you.
