i just found out that my property has be auctioned off due to foreclosure.
I was not notified that the property was being sold, i found out after the fact. I was in modification and had made all the payments on time. They said i was to off sent some papers in for the underwriters but i received no package stating that i was supposed to do anything. now i have been given an eviction notice from the new owners after the fact and have 5-18 days to vacate. is this right or do i have rights to reclaim my property.

Welcome fordtruckwoman,
You should be properly informed before your property is foreclosed by the lender. The lender should send a pre-foreclosure notice so that you can take proper actions in order to avoid the foreclosure. You need to check out whether or not your state laws allow for redemption of the property. If yes, then you can pay off the dues and reclaim the property. If not, then you can contact an attorney and take legal actions against the lender for not informing you regarding the foreclosure sale.
