I had a Foreclosed rental house, DK took it over from Washington Mutual. 9 year has passed and it failed off my credit report. What happens now. Is my credit clear or should I be expecting for some one to come after me. Im deployed to Iraq at this time.

Hi sly,

As 9 years have passed since the foreclosure auction, the negative item will come off your credit report. If the deficient balance have been forgiven by the lender after the foreclosure sale, then he won't come after you for the dues any more.

Thanks

Thank you, James. If I get in touch with them to get a letter stating that my deb is clear. Will they start collecting on me. I am in the process of requesting a security clearance. The Army needs a ltr that show that I am clear.
