My foreclosure suit was filed in June of 2010 and I have been in my home in South Florida ever since, but I feel time is running out. I have an 18 month old son and a wife. I was pointed into the direction of a website caled the Home Ownership Program where they claim that I can sue my lender for fraud, even if I already lost my home. That I might get financial damages. Has anyone heard of the home ownership program?
Hi Guest!

If you didn't paid the mortgage dues on time, then the lender has the rights to foreclose the property to recover his dues. Thus, though you file a case of fraud against your lender, you may not be able to win it.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Never heard of it, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they'll ask you for a large sum of money upfront, and you'd be best served if that happens to run like the wind. If you can't sue them with an attorney of your own choosing, then you'll surely find that this is some sort of scam intended to take your money from you (as well as from thousands of others, if they can).
