A family member has a property that is in foreclosure. He said if i bring the mortage current he will do a quitdeed and I will continue making the payments on the property. Is this legal and do I have to let the mortgage know what's going on?
PS: I am unable to obtain financing for the property at this time, but will be able to do so in the future.

Hi plenallen,
The property is in foreclosure and if you want to buy the property, then you will have to speak to the lender in this regard. He will let you know whether or not you would be able to get the property.
Thanks
