If we live in Mexico and foreclose on our timeshare unit in florida what happens to us?
Does this affect us to get a visa and to get into the US again?
We can't afford to keep making payments and the Resort (mystic dunes) do not want to help us.
Any help is appreciated thanks

hi clapsi,
i don't think getting a home foreclosed will affect your chances of getting a visa or to get into us again. a foreclosure will badly affect your chances of getting a mortgage and will hamper your credit score.
you can contact your resort and apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure. if they accept your request, then you won't be liable for the balance dues. however, your scores would get reduced by 250 points.
thanks
