After the foreclosure sale of July 7, 2009, how many days I have to vacant the property and remove my possesions? My property is located in Compton, CA.
Hi Liz,

Before you are evicted from the property, you will be served a notice of eviction. The amount of time you will have to vacate the property will be specifically mentioned in the notice. It depends on the lender how much time they will give you to move out of the property. Some states allow the borrower a redemption period of about 6 months, during which he can stay in the property. The borrower can also buy it back on payment of a certain amount of money.
