can anybody tell me where would one look to find out all the new Gov't programs that i beleive will be set up to ease this mortgage crisis? i know about the 1st time home buyer program, also there are GRANTS from various associations, etc... just looking to cover all bases in GEORGIA.
Are you looking for first time buyer program or a program to help you pay off your mortgage just like the FHA Secure etc? I'm asking this because you've stated about the mortgage crisis.
Hi Godfrey,
As for programs to fight the mortgage crisis, there is the newly introduced FHA Secure Expansion which if offered to those who've been on late payments twice or thrice. Besides, there's the Project Lifeline which is available to those loans have been in foreclosure already.
For FHA Secure Exansion, you may refer to http://www.mortgagefit.com/foreclosure/fhasecure-expansion.html .
For the Project Lifeline, go through http://www.mortgagefit.com/know-how/project-lifeline.html .
Good luck
