Does Mortgage Co have so many days after closing to make changes to loan agreement?
Hi sca,
What kind of changes to the loan agreement are you referring to? Can you elaborate a bit on the issue?

Like changes to discount points. A friend of mine said that Mortgage Co has so many days after closing to make changes or corrections. She seemed to think it was either 10 or 30 days.
"a friend of mine"
is this someone who has any clue about how mortgages work? is she qualified to make statements like that?
we all have friends; our friends all have opinions; most of those opinions are not based in fact; we all too often believe our friends; when we do, we generally go in the wrong direction, because those opiniont are wrong.
there is no way that a mortgage company can adjust points after a closing.

I have a feeling this is the same topic that was addressed a couple of days ago. George is correct .... the terms cannot be changed.
Yes it is the same subject. My friend mentioned that to me after my original post. She had just done a REFI and thought something to that effect was said. It didn't make much sense to me that is why I posted the question. Thanks for all the information and advice, I have a meeting with an attorney on Friday. I'll keep you posted.
