I've been working on getting a mortgage since last October. I knew it would be tough, but I thought I would be approved by now. I came out of my Bankruptcy 13, in Oct. 2006, show no late payments over last 12 months, have proper income, have proper down payment, but keep getting "no's".
I understand that I need manual underwriting, but so far, I keep getting shot down. (excuses, are lame too.)
I need to get approved soon, paying this rent is killing me. I was a home owner for over 10 years, before I ran into this problem, and I'm looking to put it behind me.
Thanks for reading,
Ken

Hi fozman68,
I think the pictures are given randomly and that shows a man as a girl and a girl as a man LOL :)
I just asked you whether the house is sold through foreclosure or not? But now it seems that you have just sold the property and it has not sold through foreclosure. So the foreclosure should not be reported in your credit report.
I think you should inform the consumer reporting agency the information that you think is inaccurate. You will have to send the copies of the documents to support your point.
For more information on how can you dispute credit report errors check out this discussion at http://www.mortgagefit.com/credit-rating/report-errors.html#1738
Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Best of luck,
Larry
