my husband are seperated. i am on medicade. he wants to buy a house

Being on the loan will not affect your medicaid eligibility. If it were a reverse mortgage, it could have affected your medicaid. But a regular mortgage will not do that. There are limits for liquid assets which one has to keep in mind in order to qualify for medicaid. As long as that limit is not crossed, you should not have any problems with your medicaid eligibility.
