I'm looking for a home and will need to get a home loan- any advice on how I should choose a mortgage lender?
one of the best ways in which to choose your lender is to check with people like yourself who have had experiences in obtaining mortgages. of course, you need to make this list of people you trust and believe you can count on for good advice.
others on whom you can lean are your attorney, insurance agent, financial planner, etc.
you can also ask around among those of us on this site for advice in the mortgage planning process and query any of us for our credentials, for that matter as well.

Hi Carrie,
Welcome to the forum.
I think you should shop around for lenders and compare at least three quotes for better rates and terms.
You can also get No-obligation free consultation from the rated lenders of the community as George has also mentioned above
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Best of luck,
Larry
