Today I received a Fwd'd email from my LO, that came from the Loan Processor that I will be receiving a CTC within a hour or so. This is great news!! So I contacted my Agent and let her know. She will be forwarding my broker attorney info to the sellers attorney, this is Bank owned property BTW, and will be scheduling the closing date I presume. Still have to get homeowners insurance, Im guessing as long as its done before closing im ok. Very excited here, and takes a little bit of anxiety off my shoulders that im getting the CTC today, hah, hopefully. Ill keep everyone posted, feel free to suggest anything!! Still a little bit worried about closing before the holidays.....

go get your insurance now, mike. you'll need a paid receipt along with the binder - i'm surprised you can get a clear without it.
don't rely on a processor to do any scheduling. it's between you, your attorney, the seller and the seller's attorney. you guys decide and let them know your needs - and be specific about it so they don't goof you up.
and i have to say this, too: an email saying you will be cleared to close in about an hour is worth the internet space it was written on. get the clear before you get happy.
reasonably, you ought to be able to close by this time next week, i imagine. but make that decision one of your own - don't allow the lender to decide what day it will pony up the money.

Well I got my closing day monday at 3pm. Attorney said I have 24 hrs to get insurance or closing will be delayed. So I got insurance, binder will be sent at 930 tommorow, and paid reciept I have a great team working for me.. Before I had a horrible broker the bank almost forced me to use.. Now I have the best realtor, agent and attorneys!
And george, you were right, close in about a week from now! Right on!!!

that's certainly good news - glad to know you've been cleared. be sure to suggest to others that they use your agent, your lawyer, etc. people in this business live and die with referrals or the lack thereof, so your efforts on that front will definitely be valuable.
