My co-signer signed all of the documents were they only to sign note and til?
Hi bzeller,
As far as I know, a co-signer needs to sign on the promissory note which states that if the primary borrower is unable to fulfill the loan payments, then the cosigner will take up the obligation. The lender will check the credit score and income of the cosigner while approving the loan.
Thanks.
