I'm currently renting to own a home. My credit is not so great but I'm working on it. Is there any way to add myself on the current mortgage and deed to the property as a co borrower with a poor credit rating?
when you say you have poor credit, that does not help tosuggest any options

please provide some more specifics

also if your score is above 620 you may be eligible for fha loan.

but to add yoru name to the mortgeg you and your co-borrower needs to refinance

true that the current homeowner would need to refinance the loan in order to add your name to the mortgage, but lenders would probably not be receptive to that if your credit is not up to standards.

as sunny noted, in order for anyone here to provide a little more guidance, it is necessary to know just how poor poor is.
