can i get a home loan w/ a credit card charge off?

It will be better if you could pay off the charged off credit card before applying for a home loan. Your lender may want you to pay off the credit card before he offers you the loan.

It all depends on the lenders guidelines and the charge off. Some will, some won't. Sorry for being so vague.
