my husband and I are really trying to get a loan for a home we have been waiting to get built for the past 6 months. his credit score is good but aparently since we have a car payment and he doesnt make alot we are having a hard time getting approved for a va/ chafa loan. is there any programs out there that will take m income but not my debt with a credit score for him of 590. we would put me on the loan all together but my debt is horrible. I have late payments, pass dues, collections and a creditscore of 500. can anyone help me and fast.
it occurs to me that you've not had much in the way of counseling over this time period. have you not been working with anyone to try to accomplish your goal of obtaining a mortgage?
at this point, your credit scores are well below what is going to be needed, and if debt is an issue, then your credit situation is only going to worsen things, not help.
you may want to sit down with a broker in your area - and i say that only because brokers have so many more outlets to choose from to send their paper - to see if there's any sort of programs available to you.

these days it is very diificult to get mortgage with credit score below 620.
any thing below it is not considered as good.
