Can I get an FHA loan without a 4506. The IRS is backed up and I found a house, everything is ready to go exept that I can't get this form. What can I do?? I need a loan and can only do FHA
The form is available in a couple minutes provided to you by your mortgage lender.
The lender can execute the form in 3 working days or less.
Not sure why the IRS being backed up by anything is a problem. Perhaps clarify further what problem you are having.

Can you not get a 4506T to sign or you don't want the 4506T executed. The Loan officer should have the form. If you don't want the LO to execute the 4506T;that's going to be a problem. FHA loans are Full Documentation loans. It's up to the Bank whether they want to order the 4506 or not. Most banks require the 4506T to be executed prior to closing.
the way i read it is that the irs is delayed in responding to the request for transcripts from the lender.
but guest, the lender is adamant (as is their investor) about getting the transcripts, so i don't believe you'll be fortunate enough to close without it. you might find lenders willing to forgo it, but that'll take longer than the irs will to eventually respond.
