FHA Loan

Hi Mark, Well 619 is right on the border line of 620 which is the min fico score required for a FHA Loan. Im sure lenders are willing to work with a score of only a few points short of what there looking for. With 20% Down payment they will work with you. I think you should have no problem gettting a loan if all your other requirements are met.

You would probably go to a FHA loan when you are goign to make lower down payemnt. Normally FHa allows 3.5% down and with MIP(PMI).

But with a 20% down, you can go to a conventional loan. With 619, you may be looking at a little higher interest rate.

Try both FHA and conventional and see where you can get good interest.

Yes, I agree with Garysnober & Realgeni because they are right you have 618 fico score its not bad to get the loan. The minimum requirement of down payment is 3.5 % of loan as Realgeni.

Most Important factor is you must qualify for minimum requirements of Loan provider Company.

So there is no problem to get loan, You can apply for loan.

mark you need to be at 620. re-running your credit soon may very well do the job for you, as long as you've continued to make payments on whatever debts you may have at the moment. it may take a week, a month, but not much longer. your income, of course, is also a concern. if you can afford the home you propose to purchase, then once you get to that 620 threshold you ought to be fine.
