hi so it is my first time in this forum and i also in this business,
i was hired by a mortgage broker firm about 2 weeks ago as a processor, in the beginning the work was okay because the main processor was just telling me what to do and how to do the work she gave me but as time goes on i have no clue on the things i am supposed to do, where am i suppose to learn the business? is there a book i can study that u guys might suggest or should i take some classes at a local community college?

hmmm... to be successful as a processor right now in this business I think you really need to have a mentor. Simply ask the main processor if they would mind you shadowing them for the next week or so to gain a better idea of the way they process. Try to read up on FHA guidelines online on your own time and ASK QUESTIONS. Finding your niche may make settling in that much easier. I hope your new company is willing to assist you through this process. I have a lead processor with 25+ years of experience which makes everything a breeze for all in the office, especially the ones under her. The things you learn under someone with great knowledge will supercede any course work. Until you feel comfortable try to stay close to the lead processor and follow what they do. Don't allow them to do the work, just watch as they do and take it all in like a sponge. It will take a lot of time and effort to perfect this, and even when you get to that point new guidelines will be sure to be implemented to keep you busy. I hope this helps...
yes u should opt for some online classes
