Hi vpw,
It should not take long for your attorney to contact your mortgage company. The lender has the right to accept or deny the loan reinstatement proposal. But there seems to be no reason why the lender would not accept loan reinstatement proposal. If you have the financial ability to make your past due payments and get current on the loan, your lender should not have any problem with that. Your monthly payments should not go up as a result of the loan reinstatement.

I would follow up with GMAC to confirm reciept of the funds.
Trustee/attorney was contacted to request loan re-instatement amount from mortgage company, after the delinquency amount, what additonal fees & costs are added ?
Welcome Gracie,
Your attorney will be the best person to let you know what extra fees and costs will be added when you request for reinstatement.
