What does it mean if the bank will mention that "____ release from all liabilities under mortgage"? Does it mean that your name is no longer on the mortgage? Thanks.
Hi pinkdeleon!
Welcome to forums!
If the lender issues such a statement, it would mean that the said person is released from all the liabilities pertaining to the mortgage. Thus, the person is not liable for mortgage dues any longer.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
